COVID-19 Safety

For those concerned about the practice of Five Element Acupuncture during this trying time of coronavirus, have no fear. Elements Acupuncture in Austin, TX adheres to CDC guidelines and practices acupuncture safely. We wear masks and provide services with health and well-being in mind. I am also vaccinated, so I am definitely doing my part to keep myself as well as others safe.

Do not let the current national health crisis prevent you from getting the acupuncture treatment you need. Now is the time to focus on self-care like never before. Schedule an appointment with us today, and know that you are entrusted to those who care about your health and safety first and foremost.

Here are the precautions we are taking:

  • Patients are required to wear masks throughout the whole treatment. Beverly will be wearing a mask in every appointment.
  • Disposable masks are available if you have forgotten yours.
Hygiene and Disinfection of the Office
  • In between every appointment there is a deep cleaning and sanitization of the entire office: door knobs, chairs, surfaces, and the massage table. Sheets are always changed in between patients.
  • Bathroom is cleaned and sanitized in between appointments.
  • Austin Air medical grade Air and HEPA filter is running 24 hours a day. This air filter effectively removes bacteria and aerosolized viruses.
  • When the weather is nice, I have my screen door accessible to allow fresh air circulation.
Arrival and Departure
  • Please arrive on time. With the sanitization process between appointments it is imperative that treatments start and end on time.
  • Once in the office, please wash your hands in the sink in the hallway or sanitize in the waiting room.
  • Please only bring what you need for the appointment (keys, wallet, water, cell phone).
Temperature and Illness
  • If you feel under the weather or if you have been exposed to COVID-19, please stay home. There are no late fee cancellations related to COVID-19.
  • We are strictly following the CDC guidelines and protocols. A temperature greater than or equal to 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit is a fever.
  • Beverly will adhere to all of these requests as well.
Office Layout
  • Chairs have been separated by more than six feet.
  • No patient overlap in the waiting room.

As always, your health and safety is my top priority. Should I feel under the weather, I will cancel appointments and reschedule until I have a negative COVID-19 test.

To health and happiness,

Beverly Bragg Ware - Elements Acupuncture
