About Beverly Bragg Ware

Beverly Bragg Ware

Beverly Bragg Ware trained in Classical Five Element Acupuncture at The Institute of Classical Five Element Acupuncture in Santa Monica (ICFEA) with renowned teachers Neil Gumenick and Mary McCullough.  She earned her Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the  Academy of Oriental Medicine of Austin (AOMA) where she studied western medicine, acupuncture, herbs, and qi gong.  Additionally, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas, and is proficient in Spanish.  Beverly integrates all of her training and experience into her work as a Five Element Acupuncturist.

Beverly found acupuncture by way of her own health issues. She was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis at fifteen years old, after losing hair, gaining weight, and experiencing extreme fatigue. In her first year of college she was hospitalized numerous times for a variety of symptoms that doctors found hard to explain. Beverly was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).  Doctors informed her that the disease was chronic and she would have to live with the pain for the rest of her life. Beverly was determined to find treatment that would help her.  Thankfully, a doctor encouraged her to try acupuncture.  After receiving acupuncture and getting relief from her symptoms, her interest in alternative health care was piqued.  She was relieved to know she could have a better quality of life with acupuncture.

At the heart of Beverly’s practice is compassion and care. She understands what it is like to be told there are no answers or cures. She relates to a patient’s experience on a deep level. As an acupuncture practitioner, Beverly combines her clinical expertise and skills with compassion and empathy. She is passionate about providing the highest level of care for each one of her patients.
